We had a nice time! It was cooler than we wanted esp the first couple days. We caught lots of small bluegill, 2 small rock bass, 1 crappie at night out by the 27' drop-off Jack told us about although the fish locator saw tons of them out there. We ate breakfast one morning at the Park Falls Family Restaurant ~ it was good. Went to Butternut and had yummy ice cream. But the highlight of our trip was renting a jet ski from Bernie - we had it for a full 24 hours & really had a blast all using it on the lake. Our kids are 18 & 12 so perfect ages for it! We will def do this again if we come up again. Love the privacy here with only neighbor on 1 side really & they were not home. Cabin is cute and fully stocked! Internet didn't work for us but we found the library in Park Falls. Our dogs say Thank You for letting us include them. They had a blast! We bought a birthday cake at Super One Foods that was yummy for our nephew Zeke who turned 6 yo last week & had a little celebration for him. We made homemade pizza and had cake.

We just got back from Lakeshore Pines & had the experience of a lifetime! As a family of 5 (husband &kids 10, 5 & 2. it was nice to be able to spread out in this beautiful and thoughtfully decorated cabin. It was so clean and you could tell from the moment you walk in that they tried to ensure guests have every possible amenity including fluffy towels, lots of board games & dvds for rainy days. Plastic cups for kids in the very fully stocked kitchen.
Scenic, tranquil and equipped is how my husband describes it.
Here are some of the things we did
- swam for hours in Lake Schnur with its gin clear water and extended shallow sandy
- watched our kids get along while catching over 20 fish off the dock. It was their first time but they were experts by the end
- paddled around in the kayak and canoe
- had a bon fire overlooking the lake
- enjoyed a peaceful walk out on the lit dock at night
- used the handy lantern by the door about a million times, but there are motion lights too
- loved bringing our dog on vacation with us
- saved so much money and sanity by cooking at the cabin
- never really needed to leave!
- had the most relaxing trip I could ever expect with 3 young kids
Im so grateful for having the opportunity to enjoy this private lake with our family!
Thoughtful amenities

This was our first stay and to be honest it totally exceeded our expectations. This was our 16th Wedding Anniversary trip to get away and relax and it was accomplished with ease. It was a little more chilly than we expected but we did manage to get out on the boat and fish for a few hours.
I do have to say on Friday when we got here, I took my pole to the pier to cast a few. I ended up catching an (approx) 24" Northern from the pier. I have pictures to prove it. It's not a "fish tale" either.
Again, we are coming back next year instead in June so it will be warmer.
Even managed to have a fire, yes!
Thanks so much for such a clean cottage.

Lakeshore Pines was a great Weekend Getaway for my family! We had a nice relaxing weekend, didn't stray from Cabin too far, but Bobbers at the Lake had good fish and Pizza! The cabin was very spacious and warm, the fireplace was so cozy! Plenty of room and the bed by the bathroom was very comfortable and so was the sofa sleeper. The shower was good, however could be a little hotter for some, but for me it was fine. We ice fished out on the lake and were catching the most the day we were leaving, of course it always goes like that. Nothing too big, some perch and pan fish. The lake was nice for the pup to run around and we did a little snowshoeing around. Loved the tie outs for dogs already established, those were helpful. Thanks for the memories!

The stay at Lakeshore Pines was perfect! It was clean, beautiful, and very comfortable It is in a great location, quiet and country like, but close to restaurants or stores if needed. Was perfect for me and my dogs, and the fireplace was great after a day of hiking at Copper Falls State Park only 45 minutes away.

Thank you so much for this beautiful place and all your hospitality! We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked through the door. The lake view could not be better and all the watercrafts available were a blast. The stars are so beautiful up here, especially out on the dock. We especially enjoyed visiting the Butternut Cafe for a delicious breakfast and the Park falls family Restaurant for an excellent dinner. Their Mexican meals are fantastic! Taking the Copper Falls State Park hike was one of the highlights of our trip. We especially enjoyed the Doughboy trail. Even with a light rain, the park was gorgeous and worth the visit! Our evenings spent in the boat on Schnur Lake we memorable. We saw the loons, caught 8 fish in total. (Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Rock Bass). We sat in awe of the glorious sunsets. As night fell, we sat in the wooden Adirondack chairs and praised the Lord for all the beauty of nature here. Thank you for providing this wonderful place!

Thank you for opening up your beautiful cabin for people like us to enjoy. The cabin is/was perfect! Nice and cozy with a gorgeous view. Breakfast from the Shanty was awesome. We also had a burger for lunch from there which was also very good. We took a couple of daytrips to Cooper Falls State Park which is amazing and beautiful. We went to Clam Lake to see the elk and visited Morgan Falls and St. Peter's Dome on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. It was a little busy (mid-day Saturday) but still a very nice hike. Loved seeing the trees each day for amazing fall colors. Also stopped in at Sweet Brew. The owner was so nice, and the food was delicious!

Just got home from a restful week at Lakeshore Pines. Darling cabin with everything you need for a great vacation. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen, hot shower and smart T.V. for binge watching Netflix the one day it rained (Bridgerton). Close to waterfalls, hiking trails and even fly fishing. We will be back and rate the accommodations 5 stars!! Be sure to stop in Butternut for both ice cream and the cafe. Excellent food at both places.
